Not really.
It has only two reasons.
One, because our partners from Club Seiko wanted a made in Japan movement for a Tokkotai. This choice determines the movement for ORP Orzel and The Pilot, too.
Other, because we needed a slimmer piece for Navigator, that needs hell of a space for inner rotating ring.
A lot of new models keep using Sea Gull movements, from our perspective, it proved to be very reliable and easy to service if needed piece.
PZL P.50 will have ST2542 movement, Aurochs will have ST1901, for a next year we are designing an elegant series, that will have either slimmed ST25 with manual winding, or ST18 automatic that is similar to ETA 2892.
For nex't years automatic chrono we plann, there will be either Sea Gull ST1940, or a Shanghai 3LZF2/it's Liaoling made cousin.

Pour avoir une m/s Batory parmi mes montres, les photos montrent une épaisseur qui n'est pas flagrante en réalité.
En l'ayant comparée avec une Amphibia Minitry, voici ce que ça donne.

According to watchuseek, this is the final design. Also the backcase should be ready tomorrow.
By the way, any news about the other payments: we paid PLN100 for registration fee, but the rest of the price will be splitted for 3 more tranches, with project progress.
As the project is on his (great) way, the first tranche should arrive soon ....
This will be a very great chronograph
